SINGLE WINDOW FOR COMMUNITY INTERFACE

 

It is proposed to provide all the above mentioned services to the citizens tough a single window at the police headquarters so that they do not have to visit different police offices as such the reception at the entrance of the police headquarters has been suitably renovated with different counters being available for the citizens to get the desired police service. Public window system is already operational. The following services are being provided at the public window system :-

  • Passport verification.

  • Issue of police clearance certificate (PCC).

  • Receipt of all complaints and responding to queries about their status.

  • Issue of NOC regarding stolen vehicles.

It is proposed to enlarge the police service being provided at the reception area and the following windows would be functional providing the under mentioned type of services:-

Receipt/ dispatch of dak from/to different police units/ other agencies.

 

4 Verification window

Service verification.

Arms license verification.

NOC for crackers license.

Permission for dharnas/ rallies/ possessions etc.

Permission for use of loud speakers.

Marriage verifications.

Verification of liquor license etc.

Booking of police band.

Money lending.

 

5 Foreigners window

Registration of foreigners.

Visa extensions.

Exit/departure permissions.

Return/ re-entry visa.

Information regarding foreigner from guesthouses/

hotels in form 'C'.

PCC for foreigner.

 

6 General window For providing forms to the applicant/ police officials
