Inspector Jagjit Singh
Insp. Jagjit Singh joined Chandigarh Police as ASI on 6.5.72, while he was posted as SHO PS-39, on 17.7.88 he led a raid on H.No.2195/1 Sector-45, where some terrorists, armed with sophisticated weapons were taking shelter. Exhibiting exemplary courage and leadership Inspector Jagjit Singh broke open the door and rushed inside the house. In this encounter 3 terrorists were killed. Inspector Jagjit Singh also received fatal bullet injuries.
ASI Lalu Ram
ASI Lalu Ram joined as a Constable in Punjab Police on 29.6.76 and joined Chandigarh Police on deputation on 30.5.78. On 29.8.91 while he was posted as PSO to Sh. S.S.Saini, SSP, some desperate terrorists laid an explosive booby trap, which blasted the SSP’s car. ASI Lalu Ram was killed on the spot.
ASI Amarjit Singh
ASI Amarjit Singh joined as a Constable in Chandigarh police on 26.7.1976 on 8.12.89, while posted in Police Post-36. ASI Amarjit Singh was ambushed and shot dead on patrolling duty near village Kajheri, (Kachha path) by two terrorists riding a motorcycle.

SI Amarjit Singh joined as Constable in Punjab Police on 28.5.73. On 25.2.92, while he was escorting under trial terrorist Arvinder Singh @ Tanny in Police custody in PGI for treatment , some un-identified terrorists attacked this police party. SI Amarjit Singh fought the terrorists till he was shot dead.
ASI Amin Chand
ASI Amin Chand joined as Constable in Chandigarh Police on 4.6.1981.On 29.8.91, while he was posted as driver with Sh. S.S. Saini, SSP, some desperate terrorists laid an explosive booby trap which blasted the SSP’s car. ASI Amin Chand was killed on the spot.
